Starting from the arithmetic primitive “1.”, The Absolute One is a conceptual inquiry into origin, unity, and the difference between quantitative operations and ontological presence. It explores how multiplicity can emerge from a single source without special displacement — rethinking assumptions about the generative principles of the universe, not through advanced mathematics or technical physics, but through clear, pure reasoning.
Sreenivasan P. is an independent thinker, author, and retired banker from Keralam, India. His interests span foundational questions in mathematics, logic, philosophy, and the nature of reality. Although not formally trained in advanced mathematics or theoretical physics, he approaches ideas through first principles, logical consistency, and everyday observation. His first book, The Absolute One: A Conceptual Reflection – Starting from Arithmetic One, emerged from a sustained dialogue with Artificial Intelligence and explores themes such as unity, multiplicity, radial generation, ontological subtraction, and the relationship between conceptual reasoning and existence. This work suggests answer 1200 year old “second problem” of Advaita Philosophy. His work thus seeks to make profound questions accessible through simple logic, relatable analogies, and thoughtful inquiry. He is currently engaged in further explorations of foundational concepts through ongoing writing and research and also literary works.
